ケンドリック・ラマー擁するTDE(Top Dawg Entertainment)と契約を果たしたラッパーIsaiah Rashad(アイザイア・ラシャド)。
テネシー・チャタヌーガ出身の彼は、2014年のxxl freshmanにも選出されるなど、徐々に知名度を上げ、2016年ファーストアルバム『The Sun’s Tirade』をリリース。今回はそのファーストアルバムから2曲目” 4r Da Squaw “を紹介します。ジャケットもめちゃくちゃイケてます!
“4r Da Squaw” – “仲間たちに送る” と題された一曲は、彼がプロデューサーや、地元の仲間たち、そして妻や子供、神様へ感謝を送る曲になっています。ちなみに”Squaw”は彼の地元のスラングで、”Squad”のこと。持っている資産が頭上に表示されるという演出のビデオには彼の息子のYariも登場しています。
